Feeding Bristol – The results

Last Friday saw me sat in a room with other businesses from in and around Bristol, all sat listening to the amazing results from the Feeding Bristol Project that we supported throughout the summer.Screenshot 2019-10-28 at 11.33.52

Feeding Bristol set out to feed 5000 school children, who are usually entitled to FREE school dinners – but during the school holidays often go hungry.

What was presented to me, was very moving, especially when they posted the thank you letters from the children who actually had the packed lunches.

One parent wrote ‘It has encouraged the children to try new things, and they have eaten more than they would have done at home’

One child wrote ‘I liked the sandwich & crisps… its very friendly here’

Overall they managed to make over 53,000 packed lunches, which is fantastic, and some of our Chefs were part of this amazing project.

The reason I wanted to share this with you, is because our next move is to offer more support with ongoing projects and offer our services to help prepare healthy food for the less fortunate.

If you would like to put your hand up and support us support feeding Bristol, please let me know.

As it was mentioned, that it’s not just the money that helps things like this move, but the manpower and we have the ability to supply Chefs, who know food.

So it seems a perfect match.

Drop me a reply and let me know if you are happy to find out more in the future.
